Manchester United has been handed some great news in their desire to sign Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi after his agent Eugenio Lopez revealed that the tough tackling Argentinian defender wants to leave Valencia.
Speaking to Radio Valencia Cadena Ser, Lopez said: “Nico wants to leave Valencia and is going to do everything possible to achieve it.”
At 27-years-old the Argentinian international is at his peak, and would show manager Louis van Gaal’s desire to succeed at Old Trafford, as Otamendi has the experience to slot straight into United’s first team, and hopefully will be a sign of what is to come this summer as the Dutchman prepares his squad for an assault on the title next season.
