According to this morning’s Daily Mirror Manchester United has told Real Madrid that they will not let Spanish international goalkeeper David De Gea leave unless his £35 million valuation is met, and that if it is not they are quite prepared to keep him at Old Trafford to see out the remainder of his contract knowing that he will be able to walk away for nothing next summer.

So far the Spanish giants have only offered £20 million for the Red Devils player of the season, as both clubs now wait for the other to blink first.
