Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria has told Paris Saint-Germain that he is prepared to join them this summer despite just being one year into his contract with Manchester United after having moved to Old Trafford just one year ago for a British record transfer fee of £59.7 million.
Unfortunately the move to the English Premiership has not worked out the way everyone would have liked and following an attempted break-in to the Argentinians home over the Christmas, it has left his wife wanting to leave England.
Just the other day reports suggested that the 27-year-old wanted to return to Real Madrid, but French publication Le Parisien claim the United wide-man has promised Paris Saint-Germain that he will sign for them this summer.
This seems the most likely occurrence as talks between the clubs take place about a £50 million move plus a £200,000 per-week salary.
Manchester United meanwhile is keen to sign PSG striker Edinson Cavani, so it makes sense for the Red Devils to use Di Maria as part of the negotiating process.
