The Sunday Express is this morning in what they claim to be an exclusive story says that Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has now made Arsenal and Liverpool target Edinson Cavani his number One summer transfer target after having finally lost patience with Radamel Falcao.
It would appear as if Cavani has also had enough of life in the French capital following a bust up with PSG manager Laurent Blanc last weekend and is looking for pastures new where he can once more resume playing his preferred centre-forward position that he enjoyed while at Napoli.
The Uruguayan international will not come cheap though, with the French Champions looking to get back the £55 million they paid to the Italians two years ago.
The striker’s wages are another concern with the now 28-year-old demanding a salary of £300,000 per-week, but this should be no problem for the Red Devils, as they already pay Colombian striker Falcao £265,000 per-week.
