Liverpool has already started the process of trying to find a new club for Italian striker Mario Balotelli after their £16 million transfer gamble appears to have blown up in their faces.
The 24-year-old will be missing for tomorrow night’s match against Newcastle United claiming he is ill and has a high temperature.
He was also missing for last weekend’s match against Arsenal after citing a knee injury picked up in training, and when asked about his latest excuse of not being able to play Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers said: “He is ill and there is not much more I can do about that.”
