According to Spanish sports newspaper AS Manchester United is all set to sign Atletico Madrid defender Miranda.
The big name centre-back is looked upon as the ideal replacement for both Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, and is set to become United’s first big name signing of the summer.
AS claim that the deal as already been done with United set to pay the Spanish club £24 million for the highly experienced Brazilian.
Atletico will now turn their attention to finding his replacement with Chelsea and Manchester City target Porto’s Eliaquim Mangala see as a possible candidate.
