Eager to get started on what all Manchester United fans expect to be a busy summer in the transfer market manager David Moyes is said to want to kick of the spending spree by signing Everton full-back  Seamus Coleman.

Moyes originally signed the Irishman for a bargain £60,000 – and has seen him go on to become one of the most consistent defenders in the Premiership.

According to the Daily Mirror United is currently involved in advanced talks with Everton and are prepared to offer as much as £15 million to get him to move to Old Trafford.

Everton are having a good season under new manager Roberto Martinez, and while the Spaniard would not like to lose a player like Coleman, who has besides being a staunch defender scored seven goals for the Toffee’s this season may reluctantly have to let him leave.

Moyes would like to get the deal done as soon as possible before moving on to other transfer targets which will include a central midfielder and a centre-back.
