According to reports in Spain Manchester United is closing in on Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos after deciding the 29-year-old Spanish international defender is now their number one summer priority.

According to Spanish football expert Paco Gonzalez personal terms have been agreed with Ramos, and that he will receive £150,000 per-week at Old Trafford, and now it is only a question of how much money Real Madrid wants before they will allow him to leave.

The transfer fee that is being talked about is £63 million which would make him United’s biggest ever signing surpassing the British record transfer fee of £59.7 million they paid to Madrid last summer for Angel Di Maria.
