Chelsea and Manchester United have been handed a huge boost in their desire to sign Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba after the Old Lady’s boss Massimiliano Allegri admitted that a £75 million offer from either club would be difficult for the Turin based side to turn down.

The former Manchester United youngster attracted even more attention on Sunday following a brilliant display against Chievo in which he scored an excellent goal from 20-yards out leading Allegri to believe that he is only going to get better telling METRO: ‘Of course, Pogba is only 21 and he’s got the quality to get even better.’

‘He is destined to become the best player in the world.’

‘To win games, you need to have strong players, otherwise there wouldn’t be players worth 100 million euros (£75 million) and others worth five’, he said.

‘Everything has a value in life, unfortunately, and the outstanding players are hard to replace, but things always move on in football.

‘For now, let’s just enjoy having him.’

Meanwhile the Premier League duo will continue to follow Pogba before a potential bidding war next summer.
