According to the Times and well respected northwest based journalist Tony Barrett, Manchester City has increased their offer for Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling to £35 million plus an additional £5 million in add-ons following Liverpool’s rejection of their previous £25 million offer.

This amount still falls short of the £50 million price tag Liverpool has put on the 20-year-old forward, but surly this is a very strong indication that Manchester City wants to sign the young England international, and surely it is just a matter of time now before the two clubs can come to some sort of arrangement that could very well include a City player moving to Anfield.

As for Sterling the Independent  claims he want to join a new club as soon as possible in order to participate in pre-season training while also preparing for next summer’s Euro 2016 tournament in France.
