Manchester City has added the name of Arsenal target Julian Draxler to their list of January targets.

The interest in Draxler came about after Schalke approached City enquiring about defender Matija Nastasic, prompting last season’s champions to ask about the availability of Draxler.

All last summer the £25 million rated wide midfielder was linked to a move to the Emirates, but now Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini would like to have first option of signing the 21-year-old.

City for their part are prepared to sell Nastasic for £10 million, but Roberto Di Matteo would prefer a loan first before a permanent deal in the summer.
