Man United target Isco has stated that he is ready to leave Malaga to help the financially crippled La Liga side balance their books.

The Daily Star claim that Sir Alex Ferguson sees the 20 year old Spanish playmaker as an ideal replacement for Paul Scholes.

The former Valencia man signed a new Malaga contract earlier this year but one that does include a transfer release clause set at £30m.

That may be a price Ferguson is willing to pay for a player considered by many as one of the best young talents in the game.

With Man United still calling up the veterans Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes as well as 31 year old Michael Carrick and the with Anderson seemingly wanting to leave and Darren Fletcher feeling his way back from illness.

Tom Cleverley has impressed this term but Isco could add a much needed attacking presence in the centre of the park.

The Malaga man has scored ten goals in all competitions this season and has been impressive in the club’s Champions League run.
