News out of Spain this morning has Spanish sports newspaper claiming that Atletico Madrid is keen to re-sign Chelsea left-back Filipe Luis.

The Brazilian international defender has had a horrid time since his move to Stamford Bridge from the Mattress Makers last summer finding himself spending more time on the bench than on the pitch, with Blues boss Mourinho preferring to always start Spaniard Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back over Luis.

This news now presents the Portuguese manager with a chance to go after a player who will certainly add another spark to Chelsea’s attack, and that is Antoine Griezmann.

Neither the club nor trainer Diego Simeone want to see the 24-year-old Frenchman leave, but given the fact the club has over 500€ million in debt, and has just signed Luciano Vietto and Jackson Martinez it could be they are preparing for the inevitable bid from Chelsea and hope to receive Luis and cash for their prized possession.
