Liverpool wins the RACE to sign Danny Ings

Despite talk earlier today suggesting that Tottenham were going to blow Liverpool out of the water with a £12 million bid for Burnley striker Danny Ings, Goal.com is reporting that Ings has already agreed to join Liverpool and will move to Anfield once his contract at Turf Moor expires in July.

This news comes despite the fact Liverpool has failed to qualify for Champions League football next summer, and the rumours surrounding whether or not current manager Brendan Rodgers will be still in charge after seeing the £100 million he spent on new players since the departure of Luis Suarez to Barcelona fail to live up to expectations.
