According to Portuguese newspaper ABola Liverpool is very interested in signing Sporting Lisbon defender Marcos Rojo.
The 24-year-old Argentinian left-back is thought to be on a list of players Reds boss Brendan Rodgers wants to sign this summer along with Luke Shaw, Adam Lallana, Steven Caulker and Yevhen Konoplyanka who are all being linked with a move to Merseyside.
ABola writes that Rojo still has two years remaining on his contract with the Lisbon club, along with a buyout clause of 30 million euros.
The former Spartak Moscow player has played in 24-matches for Sporting this season scoring four goals.
