German newspaper Bild is reporting this morning that Thomas Muller is eager to leave Bayern Munich along with Toni Kroos and play for Louis van Gaal at Manchester United.

Muller is unhappy about the amount of playing time he has been given at the Allianz Arena this season under Pep Guardiola and is keen on a move that would see him playing regular first team football as he was when van Gaal was in charge of Bayern Munich during the 2009/2010 season.

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is quoted in Bild today saying: “If a player does not feel comfortable with Bayern Munich, he must come to my office. Then you have to talk about it.”

Muller would cost United around 45€ million with his contract at the German champions due to expire in 2017, Bild is saying that United will have at least 200€ million to spend and that Franz Beckenbauer has also said recently that Muller “can play in any club in the world.”
