British tabloid newspaper the Daily Mail have claimed this morning that should the Reds decide to let Raheem Sterling leave this summer they will make a move for Barcelona winger Pedro.

At the moment 20-year-old England international Raheem Sterling is playing a dangerous game with the Merseyside club after refusing to sign a new £100,000 per-week contract at Anfield which has alerted Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid as to his possible availability in the summer.

If Liverpool decided to let the youngster leave they could probably get £50 million for him, and only spend half of it for the 27-year-old Pedro who has fallen down the pecking order at Luis Enrique’s team since the arrival of first Neymar and then Luis Suarez at the Nou Camp.

Pedro is not getting the playing time he deserves at Barcelona and knows that a move to Liverpool could reignite his career and with a wage demand of £90,000 per-week some £10,000 less than has been offered to Sterling the Spaniard looks like a good move for the Reds if Sterling goes.
