Liverpool striker target Christian Benteke will tell Tim Sherwood and the bosses at Villa Park that he wants a transfer once he returns to training Wednesday morning according to the Guardian newspaper.
Villa meanwhile would like to keep the 24-year-old Belgium international striker and will not sell for less than his £32.5 million buyout clause.
This buyout clause is a hindrance in allowing the striker to join another club and will force Benteke to tell Villa he has no desire to remain with the club.
