Liverpool were not the only club who sent scouts to watch Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi and Palermo’s Paulo Dybala last weekend according to Gazetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness), as the Reds step up their interest in finding a new striker.
21-year-old Icardi was the hit of the day scoring two goals in Inter Milan’s 3-0 win over the Sicilians, yet he refused to celebrate following a run in with fans a week earlier following Inters 3-1 loss away to Sassuolo.
When he and Fredy Guarín went over to the travelling fans to thank them for their support by throwing their jerseys into the crowed the Inter fans responded by throwing the jerseys back at the players leading the young Argentinian to hurl abuse calling them “pieces of shit … you are all pieces of shit” he said.
