Liverpool legend John Aldridge thinks that the on-going transfer saga with Raheem Sterling is “making a mockery of Liverpool” and has called on club manager Brendan Rodgers to sell the youngster.

What we know so far is that Liverpool has rejected two bids from Manchester City, yet the way Brendan Rodgers has been spending in the transfer market, it looks like a deal could possibly be in place.

Aldridge wrote on sports social network Kicca. “Raheem is obviously a hugely talented player but Liverpool have a top replacement in Jordon Ibe. I think he’s got as much, if not more, potential than Raheem and will go on to be a better player.”
