Liverpool LINE-UP their £25m Marquee Summer signing while Arsenal looks on

French striker Alexandre Lacazette is reportedly been called to a meeting with his current club Lyon in the hope they can persuade him not to join Liverpool after having become aware of the Merseysider’s interest in their Ligue 1 Player-of-the-Year.

Despite having already signed Burnley striker Danny Ings Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is still in need of a top summer signing and given the Reds inability to score goals last season thinks that the 24-year-old could be just the player to solve the Northern Irishman’s problems if he can repeat in the Premiership the 31 goals he scored for Lyon last season.

Meanwhile Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in his services, so if Lyon cannot talk him into staying at the Stade de Gerland Liverpool will not be the only club after the red-hot striker.
