Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has been on the lookout to find a replacement for current goalkeeper Simon Mignolet after having dropped the Belgium following a string of disappointing performances.

Currently though Mignolet is back in nets for Liverpool after an injury to the clubs number two keeper Brad Jones.

The Daily Star says that Rodgers is still determined to find a replacement for Mignolet and has identified Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen as the man he wants.

Currently the 22-year-old German is the number two keeper at Barcelona and is struggling for playing time, which Liverpool hope will lure him to Merseyside.

Barcelona value him at £17 million, a price Liverpool would be willing to pay, but failing that they would be willing to take him for now at least on loan.
