The Glazer family is blocking Jose Mourinho’s move to Old Trafford

Jose Mourinho has reportedly told his close associates he is confident of becoming the next Manchester United manager and he intends to sign as many as five players for the Red devils this summer. The former Chelsea manager has been with a job since Chelsea sacked him in December 2015 but many reports have confirmed he has verbally agreed to join Manchester United at the end of the current season.

Although some reports claim Louis Van Gaal will keep his job, Mourinho is said to be sure he will replace the Dutchman in June. When/If the Portuguese becomes United’s manager, he intends to make moves for Everton’s John Stones and Tottenham’s Harry Kane.

Also likely to be signed by the Mourinho according to reports is Benfica’s Renato Sanches who reports claim the Red devils are confident of beating Arsenal and Bayern Munich to his signing. As Roma’s Kostas Manolas and PSG’s Marquinhos have also been linked with a move to Manchester United. The Portuguese is also said to have commenced

Reports had earlier this week claim whoever becomes United’s manager will be given a warchest of £80m to spend on players in the transfer window. This will be aside money from players sales.
