At first it did not appear to be too bad, but now the FA has confirmed that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere suffered a hairline fracture to the navicular bone in his left foot during England’s 1-0 win over Denmark last night at Wembley Stadium.
Medical staff from the FA did an initial scan on Wednesday night, with Arsenal doing a further check today that revealed the fracture to a part of his left foot that had not been previously injured.
Wilshere is now expected to be out for up to six weeks while his foot heals.
