LINE-UP: Manchester United team to play Shrewsbury Town (predicted)

Few days ago, there were reports that Bayern Munich could make a shocking move for high rated Manchester United and Italy national team defender Matteo Darmian. The player has however debuked the reports linking him with a move away from Old Trafford this summer.

The former Torino star confirms he likes the English Premier League and will want to continue to play in the league. If the quotes attributed to him, it means United have nothing to worry about as the reliable defender will continue to play for the Red devils till at least the end of next unless of course Manchester United themselves decide to sell him which is unlikely.

Speaking to Manchester Evening news, the versatile defender was quoted as saying; “I love the Premier League, and I want to stay here for a long time,’ said Darmian.

There is a lot of difference because this is a big club, and from Serie A there are a lot of differences.

The Premier League is more physical and less tactical, this is the most important difference, but I think it is the best championship in the world, so I love it.”

This is definitely good news for United and their fans. With Champions league football next season not guaranteed, there have been fears that there would be an exodus of United players.

The Red devils need to keep the bulk of their players and add to it rather than sell their players. With United unlikely to be in the Champions league next season, convincing players to sign for them may be a tad difficult hence the need to ensure those that are already in the team do not get to leave. If they intend to make a comeback to where they belongED ( mind the ED ) thats.
