After a season in which he proved himself capable of being the Gunners No.1, Colombian international goalkeeper David Ospina, would just like anyone in his position feel hard done by to find themselves back on the bench after the clubs manager brings in a new player to take over from them.

Even the most hardened Gooner would sympathies with the 26-year-old former Nice shot-stopper if he decided it was time to look for a new club, yet following a meeting after his return from the Copa America, Gunners boss Wenger obviously said something that has convinced Ospina to stay, while knowing it will be as number two to Cech now that Wojciech Szczesny has been sent on a season long loan to AS Roma.
