Manchester United has been told they are now clear to sign Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal for a fee of £14.4 million.
The Chilean international was the subject of many bids last summer, but ended up staying with the Italian Champions.
Now however after a poor season reports say that the Italian giants are ready to let him leave for Old Trafford and will use any funds raised from his sale for other business.
United may have to fight City for the 27-year-old midfielder, but with Juventus willing to accept less than £15 million for a player who is in his prime, we think this is a deal that the Red Devils should not miss.
