While QPR’s on loan Loic Remy looks as though he may be on his way to the Emirates, we would be interested to hear why Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has not mentioned Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette.

The pacey frontman is having an excellent season in Ligue 1, and is the league’s third top scorer after big money Paris Saint-Germain strikers Zalatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani.

The 22-year-old is currently being linked with a £10 million move to Liverpool which would suggest either Iago Aspas or Fabio Borini may be on their way out of Anfield.

The French international is so far not suggesting that a move away from Lyon is on the cards, but he did say he was open to a move if he could not fulfil his ambitions at the Stade Gerland telling the Daily Express: “If there really is a club that is interested in me and I cannot advance with Lyon, it will be discussed.”

“The matter will be talked about between men and discussed intelligently.”
