Talks between Arsenal and veteran midfielders Tomas Rosicky and Mathieu Flamini are due to take place at the Emirates during which time the prospect of them being allowed to leave on free transfers will be discussed according to Mondays Daily Mirror.

In the case of 34-year-old Rosicky the chance to return to his former club Sparta Prague is a distinct possibility after having not played for Arsenal since March.

Flamini could also see himself departing this summer after becoming a bit-player for the Gunners since the 31-year-old Frenchman returned from AC Milan for his second spell at the club in 2013.

Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta meanwhile is believed to have signed a one-year deal, but the club is yet to announce it.
