Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas will sign a five-year contract with Chelsea for £30 million and will wear the number 4 shirt for the Blues according to the BBC.
The 27-year-old midfielder has spent the last three years at Barcelona and will now move to Stamford Bridge and play for Chelsea after his former club Arsenal declined their option to bring him back to the Emirates.
Personal details of the move have not been made public, but the Spanish international claims he has unfinished business in the Premier League.
“I considered all the other offers very carefully and I firmly believe that Chelsea is the best choice,” he said.
“They have an amazing squad of players and an incredible manager. I am fully committed to this team and I can’t wait to start playing,” the Spaniard added.
