English Premier League Clubs LINE-UP to sign PSG Striker for a Bargain £10m

According to French publication Le Parisien, PSG have no financial obligation to sell Argentine forward Ezequiel Lavezzi, but will seriously consider a lucrative offer for the 30-year-old should one be made this summer.

Lavezzi has just one-year to go on his current contract with the French Champions, and this summer really represents their last chance to sell him or see him walk away from the Parc des Princes next summer for free.

Quite a few Premiership clubs are weighing up making a bid, given the fact he is a world –class player that could probably be signed for around £10 million.

Interested clubs include Tottenham, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool who hope to be able to use Lavezzi’s unhappy relationship with PSG trainer Laurent Blanc to their advantage by promising him more playing time in England.

Lavezzi however seems to prefer a move to Italy with a source close to Lavezzi telling Get French Football News back in January: “Lavezzi wants to leave PSG because his relationship with Laurent Blanc is no longer feasible. His priority is to come back to Italy.

“PSG are not willing to let him go, and have not given him the right to leave yet.

“Nothing is certain and we cannot ensure that he will be able to leave during the next transfer window.”

The sad thing here is that PSG has more money than they know what to do with so will probably keep the Argentinian for next season and then just let him walk away a free-agent.
