The anguish is finally over for Liverpool, after the Reds reached an agreement with Manchester City that will see the 20-year-old England international Raheem Sterling move to the Etihad for £49 million subject to add-ons.
As talks reached an advanced stage Sterling was removed from the Liverpool team flying out to Thailand to begin their pre-season tour, and we now know that an agreement has been signed between the two clubs and that Sterling will become a Manchester City player subject to a medical.
