Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is now clear to join Real Madrid after a £28.6 million fee was agreed by both clubs.

De Gea has returned to training at Carrington, but has reiterated his desire to move back home to Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal, and it would now appear as if a deal has been done.

Spanish newspaper El Confidencial, broke the news that a fee had been agreed upon and that the 24-year-old would be joining Los Blanco’s shortly as outgoing keeper Iker Casillas prepares to join Portuguese side Porto.

Sad news for United but it had been on the cards for a while; now let’s see the Red Devils work on getting Sergio Ramos to the field of dreams ASAP.
