chelsea, as roma,

Judging by Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah’s activity on social media, a deal for the 23-year-old Egyptian international to join Italian Serie A side AS Roma has been completed.

The former Basel forward joined Chelsea in January 2014 for £11 million, but never managed to become a starter in Jose Mourinho’s team and was eventually shipped out on loan to Serie A side Fiorentina as a part of the deal that brought Colombian international Juan Cuadrado to Stamford Bridge last January.

Now with his loan move over there is still no place for him at Chelsea, and has the Blues either willing to send him out on loan again, or preferably sell him in an attempt to recuperate the money they paid to the Swiss side for his services.

Salah has now changed his twitter profile to “AS Ro..” while also changing his profile photo to the No.11 a shirt that is currently vacant at the Stadio Olympico.

And if that was not a big enough hint he also tweeted out a message.

We will bring you all the details of the transfer when we have them.
