FC Basel midfielder Mohamed Elneny has reportedly told a website in his native Egypt that his joining Arsenal in January is a done deal.
The 23-year-old holding midfielder will move from the Swiss champions in a deal said to be worth £5 million, where he should come straight into manager Arsene Wenger’s team for the injured Francis Coquelin.
The Egyptian international is set to fly into London for a medical and complete all the paper work once the January transfer window opens for business on the 1st of the month.
