Given Spanish striker Diego Costa’s inability to find the back of the net for the Blues this season, Chelsea is weighing up the possibility of trading him back to Atletico Madrid for Colombian Ace Jackson Martinez.
The former Porto Players agent Henrique Pompeo told AS: ‘I can’t say it’s a lie, this is football and nobody knows what the future holds, what I can say is that Jackson isn’t a player who leaves a club unless it’s through the front door.’
Chelsea has struggled all season scoring and are thought now that Mourinho has left the club keen to attract a top striker in January, and have a short list of names that include Jamie Vardy of Leicester City, Alex Teixeira of Shakhtar Donetsk and Jackson Martinez written down as possible targets.
