Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has confirmed that he will continue to play for Chelsea next season.
The Blues hitman re-joined the club on a one-year contract last summer after having previously left Stamford Bridge in 2012 to play for Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua before quickly leaving to play for Galatasaray of Istanbul.
The Chelsea striker who is now 36-years-old said recently that he hoped Chelsea could find a way to keep him on after his contract finished , and it would now appear the Blues have done just that after the former Ivory Coast international told French television programme Telefoot: ‘Next season, I will still be a player for Chelsea.’
