Angel Di Maria is happy to remain at Manchester United despite all the talk linking him with a £60 million move to Paris Saint-Germain says his agent Jorge Mendes.
Di Maria joined the Red Devils last summer from Real Madrid for a British transfer record of £59.7 million and he is yet to really put in the kind of performances you would expect given such a large fee being paid for him.
The United winger is currently living in a Manchester hotel after his mansion in Cheshire was the subject of an attempted home invasion earlier this month that now has his wife afraid to return home.
Given this, and the fact current United boss Louis van Gaal already has other options on the wing he could use instead of Di Maria may tempt the Dutchman to sell and use the money to bring in Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels and another defender.
Di Maria’s agent however has rubbished all the talk of the 26-year-old leaving Old Trafford saying: “He was at Real Madrid and wanted to go to another of the world’s best teams; now he is and he is happy.”
