Gunner’s chief executive Ivan Gazidis spilled the beans to Arsenal Fan TV confirming that the club were in talks with both Petr Cech and Chelsea football club trying to iron out a deal that would allow the 33-year-old goalkeeper to move to the Emirates.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho meanwhile is reluctant to let Cech join a Premiership rival, and even though we know he has said the decision is not in his hands he has made his opinions perfectly clear.
As for Cech a move to Arsenal would be wonderful as it would not disrupt his personal life which gives Arsenal the advantage over a club like Paris Saint-Germain who are also said the be interested in the Blues No.2.
According to Gazidis however the talks are at a very delicate stage but he hopes things will swing in the Gunners favour.
Should a deal be done the fee being talked about is £10 million.
