In the past day or so Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

The Fiorentina winger was one of the stars of last summer’s World Cup in Brazil, with respected Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio now linking him with a move to Jose Mourinho’s side.

According to De Marzio, Mourinho has been tracking the 26-year-old ever since he was the boss at Real Madrid and despite having a release clause of 35€ million thinks he could fit into the team at Chelsea.

First however he may have to decide what he is going to do with Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah who have been linked to Wolfsburg and AS Roma respectively.

Last night Twitter was turning the rumour mill with people tweeting that they had spotted the Colombian at Anfield despite several Italian journalists claiming Cuadrado is still in Florence, preparing for the Coppa Italia clash with Atalanta on Wednesday night.

We here at Soccer Transfers feel that Mourinho will not bring in any players in January, but with the Blues still fighting on four fronts you never know.
