Not too long ago German newspaper Bild ran a story linking Ghanaian international left-back Abdul Rahman Baba with either a move to Manchester United or Chelsea.
Today French sports daily L’Equipe is running a similar story about the Augsburg defender who has helped his club to defy the people who claimed they were odds on for relegation by seeing them knocking on the door for European competition instead.
Before the start of the season the 20-year-old Baba was trainer Markus Weinzierl last summer signing from second-tier team Greuther Furth, and according to L’Equipe Chelsea is willing to pay 15€ million for the youngster.
This move has us speculating that Blues boss Jose Mourinho is going to trade Brazilian Filipe Luis back to Atletico Madrid as part payment for French star Antoine Griezmann who has a £45 million buyout clause with the Spanish club.
