As the transfer season gets under way we cannot help but admire some of the moves Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is making without anyone seriously realizing how dramatic they are going to be for the Premiership and for Chelsea’s ambition of dominating it and both European football as well.

After all but concluding a deal for Spanish striker Diego Costa the Portuguese manager had an amazing coup signing Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas a midfielder who knows the Premiership well and can hit the ground running.

According to The Express, via Goal.com the Blues boss is stepping up his interest in Juventus star Paul Pogba, and is prepared to pay what to would take to get the French international to move to west London.

If Mourinho could convince the 21-year-old former Manchester United player to join him at Stamford Bridge he would have one of the greatest midfields in European football with Fabregas and Nemanja Matic in a threesome that can not only create goals but also break up attacks while controlling the Chelsea midfield.

If reports in the express are current Chelsea are willing to offer Juventus £40 million and Pogba the massive wage of £265,000 per-week that Fernando Torres is currently on.
