Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has made it clear that Blues star midfielder Eden Hazard is ‘not interested in a move’ to Real Madrid after Zinedine Zidane hinted at a possible move by the Spanish giants for the Belgium international.
Hazard has been in fine form for Chelsea this season scoring 18 goals to make him favourite to win this year’s PFA Player-of-the-Year award.
While speaking of his admiration of the 24-year-old Zidane pointed out that he was exactly the type of player Real Madrid were always looking for.
Mourinho however poured cold water on any Madrid move saying: ‘We just signed a new contract with him.’
‘We didn’t put a gun to his head, he had lots of time to think about it.
‘He likes Chelsea, likes the team and likes the league.
‘He made a commitment to the future by signing a very good contract and I don’t think he’s interested in a move.’
