Chelsea will need to come up with a whopping £20 million if they want to sign West Ham left-back Aaron Cresswell after the form he has displayed for Sam Allardyce’s team this season.

The former Ipswich defender is being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge where he will replace Brazilian Filipe Luis, who has become something of a bit player for the Blues and is reportedly looking to move back to his former club Atletico Madrid.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho sees the 25-year-old as a way to increase the number of English players in his team, while at the same time getting a quality left-back good enough to fight Spaniard César Azpilicueta for his starting place in the Portuguese manager’s starting line-up.
