Sources out of Portugal are saying the northern Portuguese side FC Porto may be willing to renegotiate their star player Hulk’s massive buyout clause.
All along Porto have been saying that the buyout clause must be met in full in order for them to release the Brazilian this summer.
The amount of the clause is said to be £85 million and club president pinto da Costa is continuing to say the clause must be met in order for Hulk to leave.
Privately though it is a different matter with the club knowing that in this difficult economic climate they might have to lower their expectations.
Chelsea has now continued to make moves for the 25-year-old after their initial inquiries.Even though Hulk was the target of Chelsea’s last manager Andres Villas-Boas the club are known to stick with their transfer targets once a decision has been reached.
