Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has given up on Brazilian midfielder Oscar, who is one of the Premierships most substituted players and decided to go after West Hams Ecuadorian international Enner Valencia.

Oscar joined Chelsea while Roberto di Matteo was in charge at Stamford Bridge for £25 million from Brazilian side Internacional, but has come under criticism of late for the amount of work he is prepared to put in, which has led him to not playing a full 90 minutes for the Blues since January.

The most likely destination for the 23-year-old appears to be Italian champions Juventus who have been enquiring about the midfielder, probably knowing they will be losing Paul Pogba this summer window.

Should Oscar leave, Chelsea have lined up Valencia to take his place, after Mourinho has been impressed by the 25-year-old since he arrived from Mexican side Pachuca last summer.

West Ham however will not go down without a fight, with the Hammers already insisting they will do all they can to hang on to one of their best players.
