Arsenal has received a huge boost in their attempts to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus following the resignation of manager Jürgen Klopp yesterday afternoon.

The Gunners had given up hope of signing the 25-year-old after he signed a new contract with the North Rhine Westphalia club that keeps him with the German giants till 2019.

However now following the departure of their influential coach, Dortmund is according to Sky Sports open to the idea of selling their big money player.

Should the German international become available it will not only be Arsenal that tries to buy him with the Gunners already knowing they will have to pay at least £40 million to land him.
