Apparently despite his poor performances for Chelsea this season, Spanish giants Real Madrid are still interested in signing Chelsea attacking midfielder Eden Hazard.

In what would possibly be a world record transfer Chelsea would be willing to let the Belgium international leave Stamford Bridge if their valuation of £84.2 million was met according to Fichajes.net.

Real Madrid is not shy of paying huge sums for players they want and would certainly not be put off by paying Chelsea such a large amount, especially if either Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale left to join Manchester United as has been rumoured in the press lately.

Hazard would certainly not object over a move to the Spanish giants after what appears to be a bad season for the 24-year-old and his soured relationship with Blues boss Jose Mourinho.

Any move would probably take place next summer as Mourinho looks to get his team back on track, meaning he may buy a player or two in January but will not be making any major changes until the end of the season.
