Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is paying down the talk of him possibly becoming Iker Casillas’s replacement at Real Madrid, if the European champions cannot persuade David De Gea to leave Old Trafford.

The Belgium number one spent three-year’s on-loan in the Spanish capital playing for Atletico and has excelled for Premiership winners Chelsea in his first season back at the club.

When Spanish radio station Cadena COPE asked Courtois if he would like to return to Spain his answer was: “I have signed a contract for four years. I am well here.”
