The Blues moved two points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Barclays Premiership thanks to goals from Oscar and Diego Costa in their 2-0 win.
Despite the win and just as in the previous match when the two teams met the Portuguese manager stayed away from the press.
Blues press secretary Steve Atkins explained it was in protest after having been found guilty of misconduct by the FA following his claim of a “conspiracy” against his side.
